Everyday mobility with a gender perspective


Methodological guide for planning and designing mobility and transport systems.

This methodological guide aims to provide concepts and tools for analysis, application, evaluation and monitoring to integrate a gender perspective into mobility and transport systems. It is structured according to different steps to follow in planning mobility with a gender perspective, with a conceptual framework on mobility with a gender perspective that defines 5 qualities, with tools to develop a mobility assessment, with a section for the application of the gender perspective in mobility where transformations of the mobility system are proposed at different scales through 10 gender criteria and finally, with indicators for monitoring and evaluatiing mobility from a gender perspective.

This material has been developed together with the Secretariat of Transport and Public Works of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and CAF Development Bank of Latin America. The guide includes the application of a case study in the city of Buenos Aires.
